Come one and all to Stromgard's Founding Revel, February 6.
Spend the day with us and share in our celebrations from 10am to 9pm.
On this day we will be celebrating Stromgard's founding lo these many years ago, and the elevation of our fair home to the status of Barony 10 years ago.
Our usual fabulously delicious served feast, this year cooked by the Honorable Lady Sionaid ine Cullaich will include:
Smoked pork loin
Beef collops
Chicken soup
Spinach soup
Leek and onion pie
Several lovely salats
Apple and cheese tart
Pear tartlets
There will be plenty for both the meat lovers among us and those who abstain at this banquet.

Our Baronial Arts and Sciences
competition will take place in the afternoon, with the investiture of Stromgard's new Art's and Sciences Champion at evening
In addition there will be many other activities including:
Heavy Fighter Practice
various children's activities:
--Stoolball
--Harpastum (keep away)
--blind man's bluff
--stick-in-the-mud tag
--pillow jousting
--calligraphy/illumination/coloring books/drawing --heraldry --sewing --board games and of course our justly famous Children's Equestrian Tournament!
Bring your full purses and bid on the traditional Stromgard Basket auction.
And loyal Stromgard subjects will have the opportunity to pay their Baronial Taxes for the year.

11am opening court
12-3pm A&S competition
12-3pm fighter practice
12-4pm open time for gaming, dancing, music etc.
2pm children's equestrian
4pm feast
6pm evening court
9pm site closes for populace, start of clean-up 10pm site closed
For all of this we are only asking $10.00 per adult, children 14 and under are $6.00, 4 and younger are free. $32.00 family cap, and of course a non-member surcharge of $3.00 will be collected.

Letters of intent must be presented in court. A & S judging usually begins at 12 noon.
Stromgard's
Arts and Sciences Championship
is coming soon! The
championship will take place at
Founding Revel on February 6 at the
Of any kind - object - ie garb, embroidery, leatherwork, jewelry, food
item, etc.,bardic performance - ie instrumental and/or vocal
performance, dance, tumbling, storytelling etc., or a research paper.
Letters of Intent to participate in the
Championship are due January
3rd. Please email me

Excellencies Sir Arnsbjorn and
Meistara Reginleif with your letter of
intent, and be prepared to submit
your letter of intent at opening
court at the
Founding Revel.
As baronial Arts & Sciences
Champion, you will be responsible for
joining their Excellencies of
Stromgard in their Court for the coming
year and lead the charge when we
battle for A & S war points. It is
indeed a great honor and all are
encouraged enter.
I've found participating in Stromgard's Arts and Sciences Championship
to be a really great experience.
All the judges were very encouraging
and offered a lot of good advice
and suggestions for resources for my
musical performances. It helped me
meet people who share the same
hobbies and the advice I've
received has helped me learn and grow in
my art.
This has been a very fun experience
for me, it's been a great way to
meet new people and a great honor,
and I strongly encourage anyone
who's at all
interested in the arts and sciences to enter! :)
